Aerodynamics Lead, Senior Capstone Design Project - Supersonic Business Jet

Aerodynamics lead of a 11-person team

  • Performed both subsonic and supersonic aerodynamic calculations for the wing, empennage, and fuselage, performed performance calculations to ensure adherence to the RFP, CFR, and ICAO requirements

Individual Project with mentor, Tandem Wing Segment Wind Tunnel Model

  • Designed, built, tested, and presented a wind tunnel model analyzing the feasibility of two wing segments in tandem.
  • The results were presented at the annual AAAS scientific conference.

2016 - 2016

Individual Project, Unmanned Aerial System

  • Designing a dual aircraft UAS system capable of performing an autonomous in-flight battery transfer.
  • The design is utilizing custom motors, off-the-self sensors, 3D printed components, electropermanent magnets, a carbon-fibre chassis, and an onboard computer running a ML algorithm to control the aircraft.
